How do i change the IP address of my AP 1200 access point through console mode ?
i am able to plug in my console cable to see the bootup but i cannot go into config mode to make changes to my configuration.
I need to change the IP address because i want to deploy the AP to another vlan.

After you log in to the console type in the following command at the prompt to go into the configuration mode and change the IP address. Remember, for AP the IP address should always be assigned to the BVI interface.
AP# config t
AP

What version of firmware is in the AP. If you cannot go into config mode, it smells like you have an AP with LWAPP and there is no way to configure a static IP address. Convert to autonomous.
