Is there any recommended method how to move APs from Cat3850 converged access controller to existing AireOS WLC?
How can I make the APs to perform a standard discovery process with DHCP Opt 43 and not to join to the CA mobility controller?
Some APs are connected directly to a MC some others to a MA. It is running network with hundreds of APs.
CPI 3.4 is available.

You can put those AP into a VLAN , other than the current 3850 wireless management vlan. In that way, they should go and register to AireOS WLC as long as you configure Option 43 on that new vlan pointing to AireOS WLC

Many thanks Rasika. It would be fine. I was not sure if those APs will perform standard WLC discovery sequence. I have no possibility to test it currently.
Thanks again Mirek
