Hello,
I am wondering if it is possible to replicate the configuration of a Cisco wireless controller to another (the same model) via WCS? If yes, does it erase the existing configuration of 2nd WLC or it just pastes the config of WLC1 to the 2nd one?
Thanks

no it won't remove the current config. It will just push the templates down and add to the config on the WLC.

Stephane,
Thanks for your reply...
And could you please explain me the step in order to copy the config from Controller 1 to Controller 2.
Thanks

Hello Mehdi,
1) You would do a TFTP upload from the WLC of the config
2) Then you would do a TFTP download to the new WLC
You will need to change the ips of the dynamic interfaces, management interfaces and fix the mob groups as you cant use the same IP on 2 controllers, right.

So basically it "copies" the config instead of replicating! WCS does not do the same replication that we have in ACS!
Thanks for your reply.
