Hello,
we're having an issue with IoT client modules connecting; there are log entries calling out Deauth Error Code 108.
The infrastructure consists of Cisco AIR-LAP1142N-A-K9 APs with Cisco 5508 Controllers.
Can someone please provide some information on what this error code is indicating?
Thanks

Can you please post the full error message?
Does it work from time to time or never?

Thank you for the reply, here is the error message:
Client Deauthenticated: MACAddress:00:02:d9:0d:56:02 Base Radio MAC:84:78:ac:c0:be:40 Slot: 0 User Name: unknown Ip Address: unknown Reason:Unknown ReasonCode: 108
Currently that device is connected but shows that it did not complete the Security Policy and is not authenticated, it is however attached to the wireless.

So what was the resolution or issue?
There a link to the other string?

It was the "DHCP Address Assignment" setting on the switch... It would disconnect devices if they didn't try to renew their DHCP lease when roaming to a new Access Point, even if they still had a valid DHCP lease.

So by setting on the switch do you mean the port the WLC is connected to or the AP?
What is the specific CLI for "DHCP Address Assignment"?
Thank you for replying.
