We have acquired an AP1200 and defaulted the configuration to overcome unknown passwords.
The 11b receiver is working, but the 11g is not working (seen) because it has defaulted to US/FCC from ETSI/Europe.
A Field Notice (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps430/products_field_notice09186a008010c9f6.shtml)
says this exists pre firmware 11.50, but our unit is running 12.02T1.
Is there a way of re-configuring this? I can't see anything in the documentation.
Thanks

12.02T1 sounds like VXWorks.
I would upgrade it to IOS using Cisco CAC Tool.
Then I would upgrade the IOS to 12.3(8)JA.
Also What is the exact model? Make sure it isn't an American (A) model intead of the (E) model needed for Europe use.

May be you can update the AP to the latest version or you can contact the Cisco TAC to resolve the issue. On the 802.11g radio, the default option sets data rates 1, 2, 5.5, and 11 to basic, and data rates 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48, and 54 to enabled. These data rate settings allow both 802.11b and 802.11g client devices to associate to the access point's 802.11g radio.
On the 5-GHz radio, the default option sets data rates 6.0, 12.0, and 24.0 to basic, and data rates 9.0, 18.0, 36.0, 48.0, and 54.0 to enabled.

Good call!!
The main unit is an AIR-AP1220B-E-K9, wchich is European.
I had made the assumption that it would be fitted with a european 5GHz module, but its not, its an AIR-RM20A-A-K9.
Should have got my torx screw driver out in the first place!
