I have issues with wireless client receiving DHCP address on a particular VLAN. The DHCP server for this WLAN is also the default gateway (PIX).
Here is my configuration.
AP-Manager: 10.0.1.100
Management: 10.0.1.101
SSID: Guest
Dynamic Interface: VLAN990
The Dynamic interface is configured as follows: 10.192.168.254, 255.255.255.6, G/W 10.192.168.1. Primary DHCP Server 10.192.168.1.
When I use static address for wireless clients, all works well. When I configure a internal DHCP server, all works well.
The debug message I receive is that a DHCP request received on a directly connected port must be sent to a external DHCP server (10.192.168.1). No response from the PIX (DHCP Server).
Can it be the PIX not responsing to the DHCP request since it is a DHCP Relay message?
Your help is appreciated.
