DHCP services on Wireless LAN Controller

hello

we need to reserve an IP address on a DHCP pool configured on a Wireless LAN Controller appliance configured for Guest user wireless services

Q is it possible to create a DHCP reservation on the WLC ?

If its a Catalyst WLC 9800 then yes you can create a DHCP pool. But it requires an interface on the box.

From 17.13 there is support for VRF definition on the DHCP pool.

I would suggest to use external DHCP Server , so WLC can do their job as expected.

Any way you need to Radius for Guest user for authentication.
