Hi,
I have a simple query about wireless.
We have a handheld thermal imager with wireless capability. But when it tries to associate to ssid , it doesn't seem to get an IP address through dhcp.
However, in place if i use my laptop to connect to wireless, i can get a dhcp ip address from the same wireless network/ssid.
Why is it so? thermal imager only supports 802.11b/g standard.
Appreciate all inputs.

Please log on to the CLI of the WLC and run the command;
Debug Client [MAC Address of Scanner]
Once you have that running, try to get the scanner to associate with the SSID for a couple of minutes. Please post the resulting output here and somebody will be able to let you know what's happening.
