Difference between -A and -B regulatory domain?

Hi,

What is the difference between -A and -B regulatory domain?

-A was for US and Canada and maybe a few others, but regulatory bodies changed the US to -B as of a few years ago.  So, ap's being purchased now for the US is a -B.  Hope that makes sense.
