Hello,
I have a LAP1252AG-E-K9 managed by a WLC embedded in a Catalyst3750G. My question is the following: how can I disable the 5GHz radio module using the WLC (I desire leave only the 2.4GHz module). In addition : in case I put in the LAP only 3 2.4Ghz antennas the 5GHz module is automatically disable?
Thank you, Marco

Physically remove the 5Ghz radio module.
Are you trying to disable 802.11a? If you are, go to Wireless 802.11a/n and under Network, un-tick 802.11a Network Status. Do the same to 802.11b/g/n.
Hope this is what you are looking for.

You should be able to go to the Wirless -> AP's -> Radios -> 802.11a/n AP's and choose to configure the AP. Once you are on the config screen, you can administratively disable the 802.11a/n radio on the 1250.

I haven't tested this but I beleive I've read that just disabling the radio via controller doesn't actually solve power problems- if you're trying to get full power to one 2.4 radio using just 15.4 watts, I believe you do have to physically uninstall the other radio.
If anyone can confirm otherwise, please post.
