Distance between two AP

How much distance should be there between 2 access point when we install at the site.

Suppose we have 2 3802i ap at the site. Plz let me know the distance in length, I heard somewhere that it should be 10meter between 2 access point,  is this correct?

Completely depends on the environment. Site Survey is a recommended approach for AP placement. 

Usually, 8-12m but again depends on the RF environment and antennas.

Definatly this required site-survey, there is no thumb rule or theory proven X  distance work.

So contact Local Wirelss site survey or do it your self with ekahau side kickc good investment for longer run.

It depends…. During a site survey the engineer should be able to determine that for you. Attenuation is one variable along with others like overall of coverage, density of users in the area, ceiling height, roaming paths, etc. I have seen many different designs in my lifetime to say there isn’t just one or two.
