Hi
How does diversity work with many Clients. When i understand diversity right. then the ap "tunrs on antenna off" bc the signal (mutlipathing) is on the other antenna "better". ok, but what does the ap do when there are about 50 clients or 500 clients assositated to the ap how does diversity work in this situatuation? does the ap makes the same for every client? then he would have much to do
regards Bernhard

It is not so much a matter of turning "off" an antenna.
It is continously receiving on both and monitoring the strength and will use only the strongest, this is a continuous process so at any point in time the receiver always has the strongest possible signal it will not matter how many client you have as only one client can transmit at any one point in time (half duplex system)so at any instant in time the receiver will only receive one signal, from the antenna that has the strongest signal
