I have quick question here does AP BR1310 can be associated with WLC 2504?

1310 supported upto WLC 7.0.x code. So If you want to support that AP model your WLC should have older software code. This software code is not supported many newer AP models. Therefore if you have mix of AP models you need to decide which ones are more important.

Adding to the above answers:
Yes it can be joined to a WLC it will only act as an AP, it will not be a bridge any longer.
