Does using DHCP proxy with option 82 slow down DHCP handshake and cause clients to lose packets while roaming?

Just wondering what the best practice is on using DHCP proxy mode vs DHCP bridging mode for roaming clients (L2 / L3 roam)?
Does the DHCP proxy feature add significant time to the DHCP handshake and cause roaming clients to lose packets when they go from one AP to another vs just using DHCP bridging mode?

Personally i do not belive so, this require more investigation, capturing the packets why this delay in the network.

Fundamental requirement of client roaming is to keep same IP address. Therefore DHCP not comes into play when a client roam (either L2 or L3). So DHCP has no impact of client roam time
