%DOT11-5-EXPECTED_RADIO_RESET

Hi Guys....

Recently my client experienced stations disconnecting from WiFi. When I checked the log, there are some irregularities. There are %DOT11-5-EXPECTED_RADIO_RESET. According to my client, he said that the SSID still broadcasting but the stations cannot connect right after the connection dropped. They were only able to reconnect after wait for several minutes.

 - If it's a controller based environment , then it is usually related to bug(s) look into :

                                                                       and upgrade if applicable.

This is a "normal" behaviour for the 2700/3700.

This is almost always going to be caused by a software bug whether it's autonomous or lightweight (WLC based), so the first thing is to upgrade the code to the latest as per TAC recommended below.

But since this is an IOS based AP that means it is either end of support already or rapidly approaching end of support - 1700/2700/3700 which are end of support from 30-04-2024.  Either way - they are all already past the End of Software Maintenance date which means any bugs like that which have not already been fixed, will not get fixed.
