Hi
We've currently got an MSE (primarily for rogues and interferers) but I'm wondering if we can have an MSE and an Ekahau RTLS engine using the same wireless infrastructure?
Thanks
Martin

Hi Martin,
Yes, you can use your current Cisco WLAN with the Ekahau Solution. The new licensing for the MSE is based upon the number of APs not the number of items tracked :-) The new 7.5 code for the MSE will also aggregate the raw RSSI data for the Ekahau Software (now just called Vision 2.0) which provides even faster response times. An additional benefit of the Ekahau solution is that we provide our ESS-Pro WLAN Survey Tool as part of the soluton. This tool which is widely used by Cisco engineers and allows you to "heat map" your existing topology and then war game how you could further optimize it for our locations services.
