I've seen a discussion about importing mac addresses into the mac filter db on a cisco controller but is there a way to export the mac filter db?  I have a Cisco 5508.  Thanks.

Have you tried show run-config commands or perform a backup and open the backup in notepad.

Didn't think of that but it got me there: "show macfilter summary"

Thanks!

Hi

Is there any way to export this list, see the format, and then import a new list of MAC addresses and devices to the Wireless Controller?

I have ran the "show macfilter summary"  and it displays all the results, however I need to export and remove all devices in the list...then import a list of new devices (+-500).

Is there any way to do this with an import file?

Hi,

You can export configuration from WLC to another includes macfilter list.

Thank you!

Another faster option would be:

show access-list permit or show access-list deny

Regards.
