Hi All,
We are getting ready to deploy AP's in our warehouse and they will be mounted in quite inacessible heights once installed. As well as setting up AP redundancy I had an idea to run two CAT6 cables to the AP, one for the network and one for the console port (wired straight through), so that I could patch a laptop into the patch panel port using a blue console cable and communicate with the console port. I'm sure its achievable, just wondered if anybody else had done this and what the distance restrictions may be for the serial cable.
Cheers,
Draft
