Extending Wireless network using workgroup bridge

                   Is is possible to extend wireless network using workgroup bridge. Following is the  scenario.

Root AP - - - - -  - - -  - - - -  - - - - WBG-------Switch------AP

Yeah you can do it that way, but the WGB will only pass one vlan.

Hi Santosh,

It is certainly possible to extend the network over wireless utilizing a workgroup bridge with your specific scenario.  Just keep in mind your bandwidth will be limited to the wireless link baco the core network.

Here are some configuration examples:

Using an Access Point as WGB:

WGB over controller environment via Ethernet Bridging:

all the PC connected to switch via WGB are able to communicated. Also client are getting associated to AP and getting ip address but wirless client are not able to get network connectivity.
