External Antenna Configuration on AP1231G

I cannot configure the external antenna on this AP1231.

It will not let me type anything in the box where you set the antenna gain. It says that it should be -128-128, but it wil not let one put anything into the box after you check the enable button.

I'm running c1200-k9w7-tar.122-15.JA .....802.11G

Any suggestions? Can I do this via CLI? If so what is the command? I'm using the AIR-ANT1728 antenna.
