Hi,
I converted the AP into Lightweight and currently it is not connected to any WLC.
Need to know if flashing red lights which are moving from status, ethernet icons are due to the fact that AP is not connected to any WLC?
Also need to confirm that lightweight AP have no config mode like autonomous ap?
Regards
MAhesh

What is the AP model. Depend on AP model, sometime these indicators mean different thing. Refer table 1 of the blelow link
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/access_point/2700/quick/guide/ap2700getstart.pdf

Yes,there is no config mode in LightWeight, as everything is managed by WLC and you do not want to configure anything on AP itself.
Only thing AP require is to know where is the WLC to go and register. There are multiple options (DHCP option 43, DNS, etc) . Refer below for more details.

I have a CISCO AIR-CAP1720I-E-K9 device.
I tried configuring the device, I connected the power using a AC/DC 50-60Hz power adapter. I have this network cable plugged in and see Red, Amber and green cycling. After a while the device blinks to red. It seems to receive IP from the router and PING seems to send replies but doesn't open with web interface or any. Kindly help some one.
