Mixing 2702i and 2802i on the same floor of the same network

I'm trying to enhance a network, and want to add APs to get greater capacity (I know less is more in WiFi, but I cant get the throughput with 25+ active users on an AP). I have 2702is in sutu, they are EOS, so I'd rathe not try to buy any. I don't have a massive budget. If I buy 2802i and mix them and the 2702i on the floor, I can use Flexible Radio Assignment on the 2802is to ensure I don't get massive 2.4GHz CCI, while still having plenty of space for 5GHz.

Is that a sensible way forward, or do I bite the bullet and buy 2802i APs and replace the lot? 2802i has the added attraction of dual uplinks so effectively a much higher capacity...

Any thoughts appreciated!

Jim

All my 3700/2800 are on single links.  No issues.  No complaint.  No signs of "Total Output Drops".

IMPORTANT:  Make sure to verify the APs comes with the correct Regulatory Domain.
