flexconnect-mode C9120AXI-E sends RADIUS accounting requests to ISE

Hi Gents

i have 17.3.3 C9800 + Nx flexconnect-mode C9120AXI-E APs deployment with couple of locally switched SSIDs set for their clients AAA up against ISE. Everything works as expected with exception: APs send accounting requests to ISE for their clients. Have anybody met this issue?

so where did you want the accounting requests to go if not to ISE?

for better clarity we dont want APs to send RADIUS accounting.

we configure WLC to make this job instead. So in my case there were some settings relevant to APs enforcing them to send RADIUS accounting to ISE in parallel with WLC.

You can go to your Flex Profile and disable Local Accounting Radius Server Group. If you cannot remove it from GUI remove it from CLI.

no local-accounting <Radius Group Name>
