Hello,
I have a WLAN which is managed by a WLSE. Is it possible to give a certain CLI (command line interface)from the WLSE to all the AP's ?
I have forgotten to put in a command, and since all the AP's are configured in the same way, it could be very helpful if this could be done from the WLSE to a (predefined) group of AP's.
Thanks,
Dieter

Certainly. As long as the APs are managed by the WLSE you can create a configuration template and apply it to a group of APs you have defined or all of them.

Thank you for the reply, but I only can make an entire template of an AP and not configure an single command.
Kind Regards,

With the WLSE templates, you don't have to create an entire configuration. You can either select just what you want through the GUI or you can go directly to the "Custom Commands" part of the template creation wizard and add the IOS command(s) you want.

Yes, Go to templates and choose Custom CLI command option and key in the specific command that you want to configure. Note that some of the syntax like "Dot11Radio0" has to be typed exactly (as far as I know, this is true with 2.7, 2.9 versions), other wise the Configuration validator (button) will give you an error,

Thank you for your answer, but I checked and I can't find the option you were referring to. Is it possible that my version of WLSE doesn't allow this?

try here...
You need to use the "custom values" section of the template configuration. You can enter your IOS commands that you want to push.

Thanks a lot!

Dieter,
The labels I used may have sounded a little different. I really meant Custom Values.
