We are a school system and have clients that do not run machine policies. We are using the utility for the wireless cards (intel and Broadcom)
We are using 440 lan controllers, wcs ver 4.2 and 1131 ap's. We also have carts of laptops with autonomous 1131's on them.

If I understand what you are asking.... You need to setup the Intel and Broadcom Utility to obtain a network connection prior to login. This way it will be as if wired..... device will be on the network, client logs in and scripts... etc will happen.
Is this what you are asking?

I am using the broadcom utility and intel utility but it still didn't work reliably. The machine policies weren't running half the time because the card didn't initialize yet. There is a reg edit that we are testing now that tells windows to not process policies until the card comes up. As a side note, the Broadcom is a little cumbersome to setup. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to make and executable like the intel client will do. Thanks
