How do you find out how many concurrent users are supported per AP?

Trying to figure how many concurrent users are supported on an AP - say Aironet 1562I and at 10Mbps. How do you determine this?

This is a very, very common question and the answer is still the same:  It will depend entirely on what is being "offered" to the wireless client(s).

If the service is web browsing/instant messaging, e-mails, then the value could be as high as 35 to 40 wireless clients per AP.

If the service is about HD video then the value is about 5 wireless clients per AP.

If the service is about voice traffic then the value is about 10 wireless clients per AP.

At 10Mbps, you will have a lot less clients. Like Leo mentioned it depends on what services you are providing and what you are setting as far as user experience. Why 10Mbps?  You talking about AP connection or each client having 10Mbps?

Thanks for the responses.

Each client having 10Mbps (regardless of traffic source) as the goal is to dedicate that much to client in case the client wants to use it.
