How to defend against DoS attacks

My main concern now with 802.11 is deploying wirless into critical systems environments. Does anyone know the real risks of denial of service against 802.11b and g, and the effects of flodding a 2.4Ghz range? I ask this because I have a few customers who cannot risk having an DoS attack agains their wireless network, without the ability to pursue legal action since 802.11 uses public frequency's.

Question is, has anyone here deployed 802.11 in a critical environment? How did you address the security concerns of denial of service?

Thanks!

Jamie

DDOS attacks are not 100% avoidable but you use the following blue print to put in place checks,
