We want to install a new AP1231, and we want to use Vlans to divide Voice from Data.
But their seems to be only one possiblity to do this, and thats with different SSIDs.
Or is their an other possibility?
I think at the older accesspoints is was possible to
divide voice and data in the config-web-menu!
Who can help me?
I am running 12.2(11)JA
Thanks

Use different SSIDs associated with different VLANs. Also, get a more current version of the code!

As mentioned: Each VLAN will have it's own SSID. The Ethernet port on the AP goes to a trunk port on an 802.1q-enabled switch.
From there, it can be broken out to separate LANs or continued acroass a series of trunk ports (like any other VLAN).
Be careful to match up your "management" or "Native" vlans to continue to manage the AP remotely.
Good Luck
