(dddddd-usacdddd) >show chassis   -   is not giving any output

Incorrect usage. Use the '?' or <TAB> key to list commands.

Burned-in MAC Address............................ 00:Edddd
Power Supply 1................................... Present, OK
Power Supply 2................................... Absent/Failed

"show redundancy peer-system statistics" will show the standby serial number if you're running the recommended 8.10.190.0 software version (refer to TAC recommended link below) so if you're not seeing the serial number you're probably on old software like 8.5.x

In that case you will need to login to the standby on console or SSH and use "show inventory" or use the CIMC to check the standby WLC serial number.

Do a "redundancy force-switchover" to prove that the WLC can switch over to standby safely.  If you're not sure it works then suggest you do that during a maintenance window and make sure you have console access to both WLCs (CIMC access will do too because you can access console from CIMC) in case one or other or both WLC go into recovery mode.
