How to reduce a clients bandwitdh via RADIUS?

Hello,

we have a group of users accessing a SSID. Now we need a mechanism which gives us the possibility to reduce the bandwidth of a user via a RADIUS attribute or something.

Since the bandwitdh contracts seem to be bound to the SSID we havent found a solution yet.

Any ideas or strategies?

Hi P.K,

not too sure that you will be able to dynamicaly manage bandwidth via radius. The only way i have heard of doing it is by using the Cisco BBSM (now end of life) which supported bandwith management. You could of place the users dynamically into a VALN which was managed by the BBSM (like for visitor access).
