How to setup a Mobility Express AP to repeater mode?

Hi,

I have an ISP wireless router which coverage isn't enough for the whole house and I'd like to extend the wifi to reach everywhere in the house. I have some older autonomous AP that can be setup as a repeater to extend the coverage, but unfortunately they speed isn't meet my expectations and the WAN link.

As I have a 3802 too, which speed would be enough, I wanted to reach the same goal. It runs Mobility Express 8.10, but I'm unable to find an option for extend the coverage. I can find neither repeater mode, nor bridging option to the wireless router.

Is it possible what I want to achieve here, or this option doesn't exist on Mobility Express?

Thanks for your help.

 - That is not possible with a Mobility Express based AP. You will be much better off by looking at such products in the home market for wireless,

what you want is not possible with different vendor and besides that you probably dont have administration on the ISP Wireless router, which would be required.
What you can do is use Wireless Extender devices which takes the signal, amplifies it and repeat over the place. This requires configuration only on the Wireless Extender part. The problem related to Wierless Extender is that the will amplify wifi signal as well as noise and sometimes the result is not want people expect.

Obviously I have full access to the ISP router.

The only thing I don't really understand why Cisco removes working useful features from the new devices that worked excellent previously.

An 1602AP which runs autonomous software you just set the mode repeater, set up the ssid details and voila' works seamlessly and excellent without any hassle. But unfortunately it's speed is not for today requirements as you can see the attached picture.

The home extenders I could buy on the price I bought the 3802 (30 $) are unable to extend the existing SSID, they make new SSID (so technically there are 2 SSID instead of 1), which is quite annoying when you are around the coverage borders or crossed them.
