From time to time, I see MAC addresses of machines that seem to be associated to the WAP; however, the machine does not have an IP address, so I cannot track it down(I did an ARP on the core router, but it could not find the MAC). These wireless clients are causing my logs to grow very rapidly. I would like to find those clients and advise the users that the machine might be mis-configured.
Is it possible to find out a wireless client just by the MAC address?
