I have a bunch of these messages in my log on my 3850 switch. How should I troubleshoot this?

Symptom:
A 3650 or 3850 switch that is NOT acting as a WLC and does not have this functionality enabled may throw misleading errors like:
*%SOCKET-2-SOCK_RECV_ERR:Switch 1 R0/0: wcm: Error parsing from CAPWAP socket
Conditions:
Workaround:
This issue was not seen in builds after 16.4.1. (It should also be resolved in the 16.3.6 and later builds of the train as well.)
The errors can also be suppressed by adding the following to the running-config:
logging discriminator CAPWAP msg-body drops "wcm: Error parsing from CAPWAP socket"
logging buffered discriminator CAPWAP
logging console discriminator CAPWAP
logging monitor discriminator CAPWAP
Further Problem Description:
The error message is cosmetic and can be safely ignored.

Interesting to note is Cisco shows that "It should also be resolved in the 16.3.6 and later builds" - we are running 16.3.7 and the bug was present on at least one 3650.

Bug still present on 16.3.8
