Hello community,

I planned to test the use of the Hyperlocation modules on the AP's 3702-

Let's say we have 60 AP's for a building. Do we need to get a hyperlocation module on each AP ?

No, you do not want this module in every single AP you got. Basic guidelines given as below

Install the Hyperlocation Access Points; try to keep the spacing between 30 to 70 ft (maximum) apart. Ideally 50 ft. apart is recommended (make sure to document your spacing) – Bring them in closer if you have lots of walls, clutter etc. 50-60 ft or closer is best to get AoA locations calculated. When the AP is much further away from the client there is more likelihood that the client will not be located via Hyperlocation

Hi Rasika,

Just wondering, do you have any hands-on with the HALO module or are you planning to deploy it yet? :-)
