If I purchase a LWAPP AP can I migrate it to non LWAPP. If I purchase a non LWAPP AP can I migrate it to LWAPP, and then back to non LWAPP. Are there any advantages to buying a native LWAPP AP

Yes it is possible to convert LWAPP to IOS AP and also from IOS to LWAPP APs.

Even if you buy non lwapp ap you can convert it to LWAPP and again back to non LWAPP.

Also the only advantage of buying a native lwapp ap is if your wireless network is only controller based then you do not need to go through all procedure of converting your APs from NON LWAPP to LWAPP and you can start using it directly.
