If there is FireWall between WLC and LWAP, Can the communication happen ? And what is the Ports?

do the 1230 wireless AP require the use of a local user account for remote access? I can not get this thing to use local login on the vty lines. Even without a username configured I still get prompted for a username.

I know that we should get a max of 54Mbps for 802.11g and A, but what is the actual download/upload speed one would expect? Roughly 30Mbps?
