Hi everyone,
I have some Intel clients running on a Cisco 1200 backbone that would roam only after loosing the connection with the current AP. I know the Intel driver is not flawless but what can I do to get the best from my AP's at least? That in terms of roaming. The APs (1230s running 12.2(13)JA3) are configured with
Open Auth
WEP encrypt mandatory
no guest-mode
1,2,5.5,11MB enabled.
I tried both the config for best throughput and best coverage, no difference.
The area is covered well by the installed APs.
Any idea is appreciated,
ME

Good Luck,

I read the release notes for it and there is nothing specific abut improvements in the new build. I have't tried it so far.
Thanks,
Marius
