I have a Catalyst 6509 with WS-X6348-RJ-45 modules (Inline Power).

How I can power up my AP1100 with inline power feature of switch!? Because this isn´t working!

How de switch detects an inline power equipament to provide a power!?

Regards!

Here is a link with more information on providing inline power to the AP110:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/hw/wireless/ps430/products_tech_note09186a00800946e7.shtml

I have a question:

In the document he says: "When the Cisco Aironet device boots up, it sends a CDP packet with information that the device is in-line power enabled, so the switch (or corresponding device) can supply the requested power"

Ok, but how the Aironet it will go boot up!?!?!!?

How he sends the CDP packet informing that he is a inline power enable!?

The ports of my Catalyst indicate inline power is enable:

make sure that both the switch and AP ethernet ports are set to auto-negotiate speed and duplex. do NOT hard-set them.

Also, if you're having issues, bring the AP right to the switch to rule out cabling problems.
