   - Tx for this info @nicolasdarchis on X :
        > IOS XE 17.16 is out. Definitely a specific release for specific features only. No wifi 7 support yet in it. IOS 17.15.2 should be preferred in all cases. 17.16 is the first release that drops the legacy IOS numbering for ap images though. Finally !

Support for EWC dropped starting from this release and onwards!

Not overly excited about a single-release IOS train.

IOS XE Release Access Point Image Version Number Access Point Release

Cisco IOS XE 17.16.1

17.16.0.88

17.16.1

Cisco IOS XE 17.15.2

17.15.2.52

15.3(3)JPT1

The AP software version matches the WLC version now @eglinsky2012 rather than the old 15.x.x version numbers that came from the AireOS/IOS software days.
