On many of my clients I am getting "IP Address: Unassigned". On others in the same area it works fine.
Of these all of the clients are Laptops with Agere client adapters inside, or are the Orinoco Gold cards.
I think they stopped working when I upgraded the firmware to 12.01, but I cannot confirm that.

Looking at the following site I do not see that Orinoco cards are Wi-Fi compliant. http://www.weca.net/OpenSection/Certified_Products.asp?TID=2
One thing you could do is make sure the Agere cards and the Orinoco cards have the latest firmware on them. This is usually the issue.

Do you have you AP configured to work with other card besides the Cisco NIC's? When yoiu update the firmware that may have defaulted back.
