iPad has a problem to access Cisco 1231 AP

We have setup Enterprise wireless and public wireless on our 1231 AP. All iPad tablets have a problem to access the Enterprise Wireless. The only fix we find is setup Enterprise wireless as guest mode. The problem is we can't setup both enterprise and public as guest mode. In other word, we can setup only one guest mode. If we setup Enterprise as guest mode, then people have a problem to access the public wireless. Any suggestions?

What encryption are you using?  WEP?

We use WPA.

Please disable Aironet extentions on the AP.. the command is

en

conf t

int dot11 0 or  int dot11 1

no dot11 extension aironet

end

We already have these lines:

no power client local station-role root access-point no dot11 extension aironet no cdp enable

Guess its a well known APPLE issue has nothing to do with CISCO AP.. i just googled and found many matches!!

OK, I opened a case with Cisco. We fixes it by using MBSSID. The details can be found here:
