iPhone users are having trouble connecting to the wifi network. Even when entering the correct password, the user receives the message that the password is incorrect.

Many other devices works fine.

The controller is running Version 8.3.102.0

Two things, upgrade the software on your controller, it's very old and has a LOT of bugs. If you can wait until end of February, a new 8.3 release should be posted then.
See here for TAC advisories: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/wireless-lan-controller-software/200046-tac-recommended-aireos.html#anc9

Regarding the passwords, which kind of authentication do you use on the affected SSID with which ciphers?
WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK, WPA2-Enterprise, mixed mode (disable that!), AES, TKIP, ....

Hello, Tks from the answer.

I´m just using WPA2-PSK with 5 letters and 4 numbers (company name + 2018)
lower case.

I will study the possibility to upgrade the code.

Oh wow, that's really low security :D
I suggest you take a more random string with at least 10 characters.
Just to confirm, TKIP is NOT enabled, nor is WPA (WPA1)?
Here the release notes for all versions: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/wireless/5500-series-wireless-controllers/products-release-notes-list.html

Is that iOS 11 ?  The iPhones (depending on the iOS version) may not let you to connect at all to unsecured networks .. or will drop you off immediately .. In your case , the issue might be with the password strength (just a guess).

Chers,

Manish
