Hello Cisco Gang,
that's me again
my Cisco ISR C1111 is running the version
Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 17.03.04a
and I have a Wireless Controller 5500 running version 8.5.124.64
before the integrated AP was in the same controller, but since some days the AP can't join the controller, I don't find a reason,
it get the controller IP from option 43 in dhcp server and I add it manually using
capweb ap primarybase WLCNAME 1.1.1.1 (controller ip)
here what i get in the AP console

Are there other APs joined to the WLC?
Have you tried a factory reset on the AP
01-24-2024 07:46 PM
yes,
there is more than 100 AP in the controller,
already did a factory reset the AP
01-24-2024 11:32 PM
- Check WLC logs when this AP tries to join (too) ,

Refer to all the Field Notices below and the TAC recommended link below where you'll see you need to upgrade your WLC to 8.5.182.11 (link below). You said Wireless Controller 5500 - I assume you mean 5508 not 5520? If it's 5520 then current recommended version is 8.10.190.0.

hello,
it is the version 5508, and actually I'm testing the new 9800 WLC controller so I'm not interested to update the firmware version
I'm goin the check the TAC code and compare with what I get,
thank you
