Is it possible to transfer licences from faulty wlc to virtual WLC?

Hello All,

I have a 2500 WLC. Sadly the unit has gone down and could not even be RMA'd as service contract got expired. Have started using virtual WLC and pretty much comfortable with it. However before the 60 day trail expires, I would want to transfer the licences from 2500 to the vWLC.

Is it possible that I provide faulty unit's serial number to Cisco TAC to obtain the license of my faulty unit and have the same installed on my vWLC?
