IW9167EH-B Failed to Join 9800 WLC

Hello!

Im upgrading some of my Cisco AP's to IW9167-EHB's and the AP is stuck in a loop.

I'm getting the following errors:

WLC is on 17.3.6 but 9167 requires 16.12.1 (correction:  Thanks @Rich R!) 17.12.1.

Time and date of the controller is wrong.  APs, regardless of firmware, will never join a WLC if the time and date is incorrect.  Reconsider configuring NTP.

I think Leo meant to say 17.12.1 ...

So you'll need to upgrade your IOS before using those APs.  Read the release notes carefully before upgrading.
