Anyone know the last version of software you can install on a 2504 controller that supports the 1142N Access point ?

I'm struggling to find documentation on it.

Is it the 8.3 train of code ? - 8.3.141 ??

Last firmware to support the 1142 is 8.3.150.0.

just a heads up - to get this working you might need to add

Disable the device certificate authentication all together and let the AP join the WLC anyway using:

config ap cert-expiry-ignore mic enable

this is due to old devices and old certificates

According to the documentation you linked

its 8.3.X will support 1142N

its 8.5.X will support 2602

That was a very useful document - and I can confirm the image you suggested 8.3.150 worked fine for 1142n

Thanks again for the assistance - I couldnt find that document for love or money !!
