Hi,

I connected AP 1522 to AC power source and this is the message that i received on the console port.

%CDP_PD-2-POWER_LOW: All radios disabled - AC_ADAPTOR  (0000.0000.0000)

Why this message apear ?

This is not sufficient power to bring up radio interfaces?

Thanks.

Yes it's possible that something is not working. If this has been working and now you get this error, I would think that the mesh AP is bad and you will have to RMA the device. As long as you know it's drawing enough power, there is something wrong. Open a TAC case and get an RMA.

AC power is enough to bring up the radios. Is this happening with all your mesh APs? I usually stage the MAPs using AC and the RAP using the power injector.

MAP1522 was powered by 12VDC power source and worked well but few days ago something wrong is happened  with the 12VDC power module on MAP 1522.

Something is broken on the power module on the MAP1522 because the MAP1522 cannot power up with 12VDC power source.

This malfunction it's possible to be affected the radio interfaces ?

Thanks.

I have a similar issue. Except  the original MAP that went out on the pole had issues would come on line and connect but i couldnt make any config changes to it.  TAC indicated the AP was bad so they sent a replacement AP.  We staged this inside and got the configs on it and then it was sent out to be installed on the pole.  AP came up and all seemed to be performing correctly then i started noticing the 2.4 radio would go down.  I would admin disable it and then admin enable it and it would come up.  I would look again and then it would be down.  Looking thru logs on AP i see this.

The power at the ac power cable shows a constant 277v AC  input to the AP.

Whats the chances of getting a bad ap on replacement.

thanks

Well the chances of three in a row is slim to none. RMA devices are refurbished so the chances of the replacement being bad is slim but does happen. Since you tested the power, I would do another RMA.
