Hello,
I can't find the latest firmware for my old Cisco AIRONET 1200 series "AIR-AP1231G-E-K9".
Here is all the informations I get:
Top Assembly Serial Number: FCZ0844Z072
System Software Filename: c1200-k9w7-tar.122-13.JA4
System Software Version: 12.2(13)JA4
Bootloader Version: 12.2(8)JA
Where should I download the latest firmware ? Is it WPA2 compatible ? (it's for test, in my home network)
Thanks a lot. Cheers

Deprecated devices does not have download option on cisco site. What you can do is try to find on differents sources. If you have another AP you can get from there.
And Yes, it does support wpa2.

@Thierry Descombes it is now allowed.I believe it is not even possible.
But as an old IOS, I believe you can find it if you try hard.

I also have a 1200 and wish to use it with WPA2 - my JA1 software rev does not have this as an option. Using WEP HEX key is cumbersome for a home environment. I inherited this from a refresh that has occurred at my office to newer devices. But it was a solid access point and think my home can benefit from it.
At least not where I can find it in iOS. Did we find a repo that has any new updates to the 1200 series.
Cheers
Ivan

A Cisco AIR1832 is about $50 on eBay. This would be a much better option for whatever you want to achieve.
