Pls provide "show sysinfo" from your WLC & "show version" from your AP.

Make sure you have compatible software code (7.6.120.0 or above) on your WLC as per below.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html#56735

Here is a good document on how to troubleshoot AP join issues.

Hi Muthu,

Error1:

Regulatory domain  mismatch is the problem:

You have set country code on WLC is USA and your AP is with Indian regulatory domain.

Configured Country............................... US  - United States

AIR-CAP1702I-D-K9

Please change the AP with supplier with correct code: AIR-CAP1702I-A-K9

Error2:

You need 8.0.100.o or higher Software version on WLC to support 1702I AP.

Check the compatibility matrix:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html

Hi,

I tried Indian code also but not happening

Thanks

Muthukumar

Ok do these and try again:

1. Set the country code to India on WLC.

2. Put the AP and WLC in same subnet.

If still not works then it may comes with mesh image, so add the mac address of access point (00:f2:8b:01:9e:e8) in WLC here:

Security >AAA > AP Policies , click on add , enter mac address Add AP to Authorization List(select MIC as certificate type).

Hi,

After upgrade the WLC software to 8.0 then Ap has been joined with WLC but i have created 3 vlan with different ip address range , if i connect with any vlan ,i am getting Management vlan ip address only  instead of getting particular vlan ip address.

Please help on this

Thanks

Muthukumar

Check the Dynamic interface assigned to WLAN. May be you did not change the interface for all WLAN.

Click on WLAN > Wlan ID and check here which Interface is assigned for this specific WLAN.
