We have a 4402 Wireless LAN controller and 8 1010 AP's configured with LEAP. Our clients associate to the AP's, obtain an IP address and can ping anywhere in the network, access the Internet with no problems. We are having problems with internal traffic from the wireless clients to the hard wired network. It doesn't happen all the time but it is frequently. Here's what happens
The client can ping a Windows server, the Windows server can ping the client. If you open a web browser to access the server it starts to load but does not finish loading the web page. Other clients can access the web site during this time and eventually the client can connect but there can be delays lasting 10-20 minutes before it connects. This is happening on multiple servers. This is not just a web broswer problem, mapped drives and UNC paths are also having problems. You might browse down a few folders on a network resource and then all of a sudden you aren't able to browse the resource anymore. You can ping it and other clients can access the same resource. The wireless clients are all on a VLAN and the servers are on 1 of several other VLANs. There are no ACLs on the VLANs. Othere wireless clients using older 1100 and 1200 series Access Points on the same VLAN do not have this problem. If I can provide any additional information please let me know. Thanks.
